I was on Zyprexa (Olanzapine) over a year ago and went from 170 to 217lbs, back to 200 or so, will it go away?

no matter how hard i try, and even though i dont each much bad food i have never lost this weight.

this drug has ruined my life, i don’t know how to lose weight. i use to do long distance cycling and a lot of physical fitness, now i have a belly and am overweight and its starting to run me down.

is there anyone else who can give me feedback on whether this horrible drug has ruined my metabolism system permanently, and is there treatment i can get to go back to normal?

I went from 150 to 220! I’ve been off of Zyprexa and on Abilify for almost a year now and I have not lost a single pound.

I’m going to try a diet where I detox and only drink liquids for a week and then go on a 1500 calorie a day diet.

If that doesn’t work then we should find all the people this has happened to and sue them!

The doctors did tell me that there was a chance of weight gain but they told me with proper diet and excersize I’d avoid it and that was not true. And if this drug has long-term effects that last forever even after you stopped taking it then I really think they could be sued.
