Weight Loss Ideas for an Endomorph?
I have recently discovered I am classified as an endomorph. Laa-dee-daa. Great! Here’s the deal: I am hovering around the 200 lb mark (I have thankfully dropped 30 pounds in the last few months), hike 3 miles twice a week, do the ab machine and tread mill for 20 minutes 2-3 times a week, running and walking, and do some yoga at least once a week. I unfortunately have a desk job, but have cut down on fast food, swapping it for salads and whole grains, don’t drink pop (only tea) and am battling a cigarette habit. My problem is that my weightloss efforts have stalled over the last month, I haven’t lost any more weight lately and am sick of working my butt off for nothing. My husband is supportive and there is a history of thyroid issues in my family (but my Dr. says I’m fine). Is it time to give up and accept my body for what it is? Or does someone have good ideas for amping up calorie burning for endomorphs?
All I can do is tell you what is working for me. 1200 calories a day… I write down everything I eat…No fast foods.. lots of veggies and fruits, lean meats and grains… no sugar… no breads{white flour} and NO fast foods. I start my day with a walk. another walk mid day and then some other exercise in the early evening. The exercise keeps your metabolism revved up. Good Luck.
